Welcome to Athens! Meet up with our representative at the Athens airport and take your transfer to your hotel in Athens.
After check-in spend some time at leisure strolling the area and taking in the atmosphere of the city.

Day 2 |
Athens, Sight Seeing |
Spend the day on a sightseeing tour of Athens including guided visits to the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum. Your expert guide will show you the most important landmarks of Athens as you drive towards the Acropolis. You will see the Panathenaic stadium, the temple of Zeus , the parliament and much more on your way to the most known of all Greek sights, the Parthenon on the top of the Acropolis. After visiting the Acropolis you will enjoy the Acropolis museum. This part of your tour ends with a walk through the Plaka area, the picturesque old town of Athens, full of small shops, cafes and restaurants.
In the afternoon, set off for the town of Kalambaka, where the impressive byzantine monasteries of Meteora are located.

Day 3 |
Discover the Meteora Monasteries |
Today you will explore the Meteora region , one of the most extraordinary sights in Greece. Visit some of the eastern Orthodox churches' most important monastic complexes and see the mystical monasteries perched on enormous sandstone rocks.
After a stop with free time for lunch in a local restaurant, a drive through some beautiful scenic roads brings you to the beautiful Zagori area..
Zagori is one of the most strictly protected areas in Greece due to its wild and unspoiled nature and its distinctive traditional architecture.
This beautiful area is a National Park and the Vikos-Aoös Geopark, is a member of
UNESCO’s Global Geopark Network.

Day 4 |
Hike and explore Zagori
|
Today you have the opportunity to discover the Zagori region with a mountain expert guide. Drive up to Vradeto village (1,300 m altitude), from where a mild thematic route on the lower alpine zone will bring us to the most spectacular view of the Vikos Canyon, an Unesco Geopark and the deepest canyon in the world! A downhill hike through the famous and best preserved Scala Vradetou (cobbled stone footpath) will bring us down to Kapesovo village.
Visit the most important stone bridges of the area, the Kokkoros and Plakidas bridges.
Tonight, enjoy an authentic local dinner.

Day 5 |
Discover the Zagorochoria villages |
Set off with your mountain expert for a short scenic hike to Mikro Papigo, one of the best-kept traditional stone villages in Greece. The hike will take you through the Bistyries caves with their extraordinary colors which were inhabited in Neolithic times. From there after one hour’s hike you reach the Red Rock, the spectacular view point overlooking the Vikos Canyon and Voidomatis springs. Return to Mikro Papigo to have lunch and then visit the Rogovos pools. In the afternoon visit the monastery of Spiliotissa in Voidomatis river.
If you desire you will have the opportunity to do rafting in one of the most beautiful rivers of Greece (optional).

Day 6 |
Zagori to Corfu |
After breakfast, depart Zagoria for your next destination, the island of Corfu.
On the way, visit Ioannina, a city by Lake Pamvotis and the islet of Ali Pasha. See the monastery of Agios Panteleimon and learn the fascinating history of the area.
From here travel to Igoumenitsa to catch the local ferry to the island of Corfu.
Enjoy an evening out exploring the picturesque town of Corfu.

Day 7 |
|
Corfu is an island that the Venetians, the English, the French and Austrians have left their mark on, an Island of European Aristocracy.
Explore the luxurious period of Noble Corfu and see all the major monuments of the town in one day. Start at Achilion Palace with its unique gardens, built by Princess Sissy of Austria and the inhabited by Kaiser of Germany. Continue to Kanoni, for photoshooting of the famous Mouse Island, before a visit at the Mon Repo’s summer Palace and it’s unique gardens. Continue to the Old town and passing though Liston (golden List) the street built to resemble the Rue de Rivoli in Paris we will reach the main Palace of Corfu.

Day 8 |
Corfu to Delphi |
After breakfast take the ferry back to the mainland and head on towards Delphi.
On the way you see the charming towns of Nafpaktos, with its venetian fortress, and Galaxidi, a seaside village graced with narrow cobblestone streets, handsome stone mansions and two small harbors.
Continue to Delphi/ Arachova for check-in to hotel.

Day 9 |
Visit Delphi (overnight Athens) |
Today visit the impressive site of Delphi, situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.
Delphi is the home of the legendary oracle, the most revered site of ancient Greece, once considered to be the navel of the world. Visit the Temple of Apollo dating back to the 4th century B.C. , and climb even higher on to the ancient stadium, where every four years athletes competed in the Pythian Games also a precursor of the modern Olympic Games.
After a free time for a local lunch in the Delphi region, head back to Athens. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Athens.

After a nice breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the day in the city before you are transferred to Athens International Airport to catch your flight home.
