Next stop of the cruise is the island of Hydra. Considered one of the prettiest port towns of the Aegean with large stone mansions of exquisite architecture overlooking the harbour. Hydra is one of the only Greek islands that no wheeled vehicles are allowed on. There are no cars and no scooters. Just tiny marble-cobbled lanes, donkeys, rocks, and sea.
Stroll the waterfront and explore the beauty of the island; see why Hydra has been attracting world renowned artists since the early 60’s up to today. Hydra, against the tide, has managed to retain its style and character unspoilt by modern development and tourism. It is a hidden gem amongst the Greek islands.

Straits of Poros

The narrow straits!

In the early afternoon, the cruise back to Athens is another highlight of the day as you cross the beautiful straits of Poros; these narrow straits separate the island of Poros and the Peloponnese. The unique setting makes the crossing of the straits spectacular. Navigating through the straits, on your left you will see the Peloponnese and the small village of Galatas, on your right the island of Poros and its beautiful houses built amphitheatrically as if climbing the mountain side.

Return to the marina in Athens
Cruise to Athens.
As the sun sets over the Aegean Sea, cruise back to Athens. Get some last information from your skipper on the way back to the marina. End your cruise at the marina where the transfer* to your hotel awaits.
