Your captain will point out the highlights as you pass by small uninhabited islands on the way to Cape Sounion.

Reaching the bay of Sounion you will set anchor under the majestic temple of Poseidon with a clear view of the Aegean Sea and the awe-inspiring Cape. On board an assortment of light snacks and soft drinks will be available. Enjoy swimming and the snacks served on board – bask in the sun and take in the amazing scenery. Sounion bay is very pretty with a sandy beach if you wish to go ashore.

At anchor hear the gentle sound of the waves against the boat while sipping a cold drink on deck and admiring the majestic setting; a wonderful day out.

Return to the marina in Athens
Cruise to Athens.
Cruise back to the Athens marina. Enjoy the fast boat skimming across the water. Get some last information from your skipper on the way back. End your cruise at the marina where the transfer* to your hotel awaits.

This cruise is operated every day from March up to the end of October.
	Departure Time
As this is a private tour you can set the time of departure that suits you. We recommend to start the tour at about 15:00, as this will allow you to reach Cape Sounion at the best time. (for winter sailings the recommended departure time is 13:00). This Cape Sounion cruise itinerary is a Sunset trip, there is a morning departure trip to Sounion also.
